Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using taoforecast.com (including insights.taoforecast.com and portal.taoforecast.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. About Medulla Labs Limited

Medulla Labs Limited is a company incorporated in Cyprus. We operate taoforecast.com, providing Bittensor blockchain intelligence, analytics, and API services.

3. Services Provided

We provide:

  • Public Intelligence Dashboard - Free access to Bittensor subnet rankings, analytics, and insights
  • API Access - Paid API access for programmatic data retrieval (various subscription tiers)
  • Customer Portal - Account management, API key generation, usage monitoring, and billing
  • Chain Analytics - Blockchain analysis and monitoring tools

4. Account Registration

To access certain features (such as API services), you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Subscription Plans

API access requires a paid subscription. Subscription tiers and pricing are displayed on our website and may change with notice.

5.2 Billing

  • Payments are processed through Stripe
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (as selected)
  • Charges are non-refundable except as required by law
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

5.3 Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial months or unused time
  • API access continues until subscription expiry

5.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before price changes take effect.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

  • Use our services for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data beyond API rate limits
  • Share your API keys with unauthorized third parties
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use our services to harm, harass, or spam others
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Resell or redistribute our data without authorization

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination.

7. API Usage and Rate Limits

  • API rate limits apply based on your subscription tier
  • Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling
  • We reserve the right to modify rate limits with notice
  • API keys are confidential and must be kept secure
  • Lost or compromised keys should be regenerated immediately

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our services (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, data, and software) are owned by Medulla Labs Limited and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may use our data via the API subject to your subscription terms. You may not:

  • Claim ownership of our data or services
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices
  • Create derivative works without permission

9. Data Accuracy and Disclaimers

While we strive for accuracy, our services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee:

  • 100% accuracy of blockchain data or analytics
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Specific uptime or availability SLAs (unless Enterprise agreement)
  • Fitness for any particular purpose

You use our services at your own risk. Do not rely solely on our data for investment or financial decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medulla Labs Limited shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from service interruptions or data inaccuracies
  • Third-party actions or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Medulla Labs Limited from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Abuse of our services or systems

Upon termination, your access to paid services will cease immediately. You remain responsible for any outstanding fees.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Cyprus. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cypriot courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
